Kmang Kmang

Kmang Kmang is an Avant World Rock group. There music embodies a post-rock, jazz-inflected
dismantling of indie songwriting of emotional, complex songs without words. This was a fun project that
allowed me to develop a brand that is fitting for a talented group of artits. The initial concept was to create
a look and feel that involves charater. After listening to Kmang Kmang's debut album "Drifting" I was able
to grasp on how this music would appear visually. I focused on type and textures to give the identity the
same depth and unique characteristics as their music. The type, I thought should be fun and spontaneous.
I used a slab serrif font that is organic in a way that relates to the flow of their music.
